For more than 100 years, the Firm Inns of High-Alsace offered the lodging and cover to the friends of nature.  Come to discover rustic dishes or regional specialities in the two firm inns of Schnepfenried, at 5/10 minutes from the country cottage with foot.

Come to share the passion of the wine growers, proud of their production. Visit their cellar, taste wines of character resulting from world fame Great Vintages.  Alsace has a rich wine heritage, and throughout the summer and autumn celebrates the fruit of the vine with various Festivals, markets and other jollities where you can meet with winemakes, taste and buy their wines. Many caveaux opens their door to you. The wine is of course to consume with moderation.

 

 

  ->  Alsatian Specialities

Upon your visit to Windstub, you must have some Sauerkraut, the local traditional dish . This tasty regional specialty can be prepared in many ways, in particular "Garnie", "Royale" or "de la Mer", all of which today can be found in restaurants around the world . Among other things, Alsace is also famous for its Pork-butchery: "Gendarmes", "Knacks", ham and other sausages are a real treat for meat lovers ... A glass of gewurztraminer is the perfect complement toMunster Cheese , bringing about all of its flavor . Alsatian gastronomy, also includes excellent cakes such as the kugelhopf, the bretzels, the strudel or delicious tarts made of Mirabelle plums with which delicious Brandy is also made .
